Healthy Vegetable Oatmeal for Weight Loss

Ingredients: for single serving

Oats: 50 grams
Beans: 1 tablespoon
Carrot: half of a whole
Red capsicum: half of a whole
Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
Chopped onion: 1 tablespoon
Chopped ginger (fresh): ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1/4th teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1/4th teaspoon
Salt: ½ teaspoon
Curry leaves: 1 tablespoon
Chopped coriander: 1 tablespoon
Water: 300 ml

Procedure: This recipe dish will give 300 kcal approximately.

1. Add olive oil to a saucepan and add diced onion.

2. Stir fry the onions for 30 seconds.

3. Add chopped ginger and stir fry for 30 seconds.

4. Add chopped beans, medium sized pieces of carrot and strips of red capsicum. Stir fry for 30 seconds.

5. Add red chilli powder, coriander or dhaniya powder, salt, water, curry leaves and chopped coiander.

6. When the water comes to boil, add oats.

7. Mix well, close the lid and cook on medium to low flame till the oats get tender and till the water dries up completely.

Vegetable Oatmeal for weight loss is ready.
